Be inspired by sports

Looking to find the right sport for you?
Sport is the foundation of an active and healthy lifestyle, helping physical, social and mental wellbeing. But it isn’t one-size-fits-all.
So, true to our ethos of empowering every student to fulfil their unique potential as well-rounded adults, every student at Cape is encouraged to choose which sports they want to try, participate or shine in.
We believe that sport prepares students for life. It helps students discover new talents and build teamwork, sportsmanship, leadership, communication, and self-reflection whilst having fun.
That’s why our students can choose between over x sports, including both traditional and non-traditional activities. In fact, we offer everything from rugby to netball and athletics and from surfing to trampolining and Zumba. And with opportunities during the school day and at after school clubs and fixtures, there is something for everyone, whether you participate for pleasure or compete at county and regional levels.

Inspiration in the Arts
Every child is an artist.
Students have different skills, interests and abilities. So at Cape, we nurture these to build confidence, individuality and creativity through the mediums of Art, Design and Technology, Food and Music.
These skills will be studied in Key Stage 3 as part of the core curriculum and can be continued as a GCSE course at Key Stage 4.
But it doesn’t stop there. We take it further with a huge range of extra-curricular activities with opportunities to participate in showcases and exhibitions, concerts, and performances, in and outside school.
