Too often, secondary school is simply a place to learn academics. Not at Cape. Here not all learning happens in the classroom.
That’s why we’re proud to be an Approved Activity Provider for the Duke of Edinburgh Awards. And why many of our students choose to participate in the scheme each year.
Why do DofE?
DofE is an experience like no other. Introducing you to new activities, and helping you build vital skills like resilience, confidence, teamwork, and leadership …skills that help you achieve in life and work.
Not surprising then that the scheme helps award winners stand out when applying for college, university or a job.
That’s a great reason to participate, but there are other reasons too… you meet new friends, share experiences, make memories that’ll last a lifetime… oh and did we mention it’s lots of fun too?
